What the article fails to mention is that 200m is too short for a velodrome. 250 is the widely accepted “minimum” distance. Tracks shorter than that require banking so steep that it makes learning to ride the track a bit too daunting for some beginners.
That said, I’m behind this thing being built 100%. I’ll be there weekly.
